Not sure not sure on exact levels , but 8An return is fairly big. Have used ~6an for a 841 RWHP in the past without issues. That said I have the Polar Engineering pump hanger and it is plumed for 8an. A trick I have done is use the stock feed line as the return ( these are often bigger in most cars) and run a new 8an feedline.
